Abdul Azim ((アラビア語: عبد العظيم)) is a male Muslim given name. It is built from the Arabic words ''Abd'', ''al-'' and ''Azim''. The name means "servant of the Mighty", ''Al-'Azīm'' being one of the names of God in the Qur'an, which give rise to the Muslim theophoric names.〔 〕 The letter ''a'' of the ''al-'' is unstressed, and can be transliterated by almost any vowel, often by ''u''. So the first part can appear as Abdel, Abdul or Abd-al. The second part can also be written Adeem or in other ways. The whole name is subject to variable spacing and hyphenation. It may refer to: *Abdel Azim Ashry (1911–1997), Egyptian basketball player *Abdul Azim al-Deeb (1929-2010), Egyptian professor of jurisprudence at Qatar University *Wajih Abdel-Azim, Egyptian footballer *Abdul-Adeem Karjimi, Moroccan footballer ==See also== *Shah-Abdol-Azim shrine, shrine in Rey, Iran 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Abdul Azim」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
